Manavjot (Mj) Sidhu MD, FACC, FASE, FASNC, RPVI

Dr. Manavjot (Mj) Sidhu went to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Punjab, India. After graduation he completed internship at Guthrie/ Robert Packer hospital and then residency at University of Missouri, Columbia. Later, he pursued training and research in advanced cardiovascular imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School and then fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at University of Missouri, Columbia.

During his training at Harvard, Dr. Sidhu has participated in clinical research trails aimed at treating hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol) and increasing usage of non-invasive imaging modalities to identify patients at risk of heart attacks/ myocardial infarction. Dr. Sidhu has a published his cardiovascular research work in several prestigious journals and newsletters. He has also presented his research work at several national and international meetings including American College of Cardiology (ACC) and American Heart Association (AHA) and continues to be involved in cardiovascular research. He is a reviewer of cardiovascular journals including the abstracts that are submitted to American Heart Association (AHA) annual conference. He is a faculty at University of Texas Southwestern, University of North Texas Health Sciences and is also an Assistant Professor at Texas Christian University (TCU)Burnett School of Medicine. He is a fellow of American College of Cardiology (FACC), American Society of Echocardiography (FASE), American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (FASNC), American Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (FSCCT).

Dr. Sidhu provides exceptional care to his patients and focusses on all aspects of cardiovascular care including diagnosis, management, treatment and prevention of heart failure, heart attacks, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, pulmonary hypertension, peripheral vascular disease and valvular heart disease. He collaborates with several subspecialities and collaborates with cardiothoracic surgeons when the patients need surgery for their heart condition. Dr. Sidhu has also won several prestigious awards and scholarships in his field including Junior faculty award by American Federation of Medical Research, Henry Christian award for accomplishments in research by American Federation of Medical Research and Young Investigator award by American Association of Cardiologists of Indian Origin.
